We've been to Perth Leisure Pool before and it's always fun. A coupe of hours of slides, wild water, waterfalls and the outdoor pool later and we were ready for dinner.
And then to McDiarmid Park, home of Perth's Scottish Premier League team, St Johnstone. So called after Perth became connected with St John the Baptist - thus becoming St John's Toun. They've played at McDiarmid Park since 1989.
We paid to get in the main stand - Sam got in for free - and then decided to upgrade ourselves. We didn't have tickets with seat numbers so we headed to the poshest seats we could find. And we could see the car from where we sat!
More amazingly we could see Murray the Miserable Cock on the dashboard.
Look at the legroom in the rows! And the angle they are built at. Perfect view for the posh people (and us too, today).
The game was entertaining with St Johnstone coming back from 0-1 at half time to win 2-1. We were also treated to a sending off and a Motherwell coach being sent to the stands.
Tea tonight was from the top rated chip shop in town (according to Trip Advisor) - Colorado Fish Bar! Looks tatty, no frills whatsoever inside or out, but the fish supper was awesome! Two pieces of fish, obvs. Good day!
