7 February 2015 - London

Time for a trip into Town, and we started off at Piccadilly Circus waiting for Ripley's Believe It Or Not to open. The statue provides the Perfect venue if you fancy photo-bombing the snapshots of the tourists.

The weather was crappy but who cares about that?

Ripley's Believe It Or Not is full of fascinating bits and pieces and worth a visit. Don't pay full price though, it's a bit over-priced unless you can find some kind of a deal on your tickets (we used the Rail network's One Ticket Free offer).

There's a great mirrow maze in there which can prompt the odd moment of panic.

We strolled past the Ritz, through Green Park and took in the views of Buckingham Palace.

We then ambled back along The Mall, across Horseguard's Parade, and into Trafalgar Square.

Where Sam was unable to get up onto the enormous lion statues. Bigger than you think they are! All in all a grand day out.
